Recipe For a Mouth Watering Burrito Bowl!!!!
Ingredients
For the base:
⦁ 1 cup brown or white rice
⦁ 2 cups water
⦁ 1 cup corn
⦁ 1 cup beans,rinsed and drained
For protein:
⦁ 1 Ib chicken,steak or tofu( sensoned with cumin,chili powder, garlic powder,salt and papper)
For Topping:
⦁ 1 cup pico de gallo
⦁ 1 cup shredded cheese
⦁ 1 cup shredded lettuce
⦁ 1 avocado or guacamole
⦁ Sour cream or greek yogurt
For Cilantra-Lime Rice :
⦁ 1 cup uncooked rice (white or brown)
⦁ 2 cups water
⦁ 1 Lime (juiced)
⦁ 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
⦁ Salt to taste

Step by Step Instructions
1.Cook the rice
When cooked, use a fork to fluff the rice. Mix in lime juice, cilantro, and salt to the desired level. Reserve for later use
AT the last stage, rinse the rice under running cold water using it on the sink till the water is no longer cloudy.
Rinse the rice and pour it in a pot with the water. Bring that to a boil.
Now let’s lower the temperature and cover it to let it simmer on low heat for around 18-20 minutes once the water boils (or 30-40 minutes in case you are using brown rice) and until all the water has been soaked up
2.Prepare the Protein :
If using chicken, steak or barbacoa season with your favorite spices(Like cumin, chilly powder, garlic powder) and cook in skillet or on the grilled until fully cooked.
For sofritas, crumble tofu and saupe with taco seasoning until heated through. Allow the protein rest for a few minutes, then slice or shrred as needed.
3.Assemble the Bowl :
Place a bowl and start putting base of rice and add some beans and corns on it. After adding beans and corn top it with cooked protein .
Add Topping:
Layyer on pico de gallo,lettuce,cheese,avocado or guacamole and sour cream. You can drizzle it with hot sauce if you like.
